What Do The Icons Mean - y what not.
Cruelty Free
These productos are not tested on animals, y the raw materials used have also not been tested on animals. Animal testing para cosmetics is forbidden in both the europeo Union y South Korea.
What it does not mean: Cruelty free does not imply that a producto is hypoallergenic o free de synthetic ingredientes. Please note: in the Cosmetic Producto Safety Report (CPSR), the seguridad assessor may still need to use toxicological reference data that originates de animal studies conducted before animal testing bans were in place.
Sin HEMA
These productos do not contain 2-Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate (HEMA, CAS 868-77-9).
What it does not mean: HEMA free does not mean that the producto is free de all acrylates (e.g., Di-HEMA Trimethylhexyl Dicarbamate may still be present). These longer Acrylates are generally less sensitization-prone than HEMA, but sensitization can still occur.
TPO Free
These productos do not contain Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO, CAS 75980-60-8).
What it does not mean: Other UV photoinitiators such as TPO-L o TMO may be present. These are not listed in Annex II o III of the UE Cosmetic Productos Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009) y are permitted in cosmetic uña productos.
Certified Vegan
The brand holds a valid Vegan certification, ensuring that no animal-derived ingredientes are used.
What it does not mean: Vegan certification does not automatically mean the producto is “natural” o “organic” – it only confirms that no ingredientes of animal origin are present.
