Working steps with nail art elements

• Build a stable base and colour layer with your chosen gel system and cure fully.
• Apply stickers, stones or chrome on a suitable surface (matte, tacky or no-wipe, depending on the product).
• Embed 3D elements in thicker top gel or builder gel to stabilise and smooth transitions.
• Seal designs with one or two layers of top gel, capping the free edge carefully.

Practical considerations

• Plan the height and placement of stones and charms so they are comfortable in daily wear.
• Use fine tweezers, silicone tools and detail brushes for accurate positioning.
• Work with good lighting so small elements and edges are clearly visible.
• Advise clients that very raised designs are more decorative and may require more care.

• Keep small parts in closed containers or palettes to avoid contamination and loss.
• Use clean tools to pick up stones and charms; avoid touching uncured gel with fingers.
