RIPOSO GL14 (Single Velvet 1)

A transparent velvet “knit glitter” gel designed to add a soft, textile-like sparkle on top of any design. Wear it over colour gels or over magnetic/cat-eye gels to create a warm, cozy finish with visible fibre depth.

What it is

Single Velvet 1 is a clear overlay gel featuring chunkier knit-style glitter fibres for improved definition and clarity. The formula is made more fluid to help disperse the fibres evenly and build a more noticeable “knit” effect.

Instructions

1. Apply your base design (colour gel and/or magnetic gel) and cure fully.
2. Stir or roll the bottle gently to redistribute fibre glitter evenly.
3. Apply a thin, even layer of Single Velvet 1 and cure.
4. For stronger knit texture, apply a second thin layer and cure again.
5. Finish with a compatible top gel if desired, then cure.

Pro tip

For the cleanest look, keep coats thin and use a light floating motion to avoid clumping fibres in one area. If you want more “fabric density”, build in two thin layers rather than one thick coat.
